Just throw your line near a fish shadow and wait. Hit the button when the bobber goes down. Easy!

Catching a fish in Animal Crossing is pretty chill once you get the hang of it! Just go to any body of water like a river or the ocean, and look for fish shadows. Equip your fishing rod, aim in front of the shadow, and wait for the fish to bite. You'll see your bobber dip under water when a fish bites. That's your cue to press the button! Timing is key; too early or too late and the fish will swim away. Good luck fishing!

Honestly, fishing in Animal Crossing can test your patience more than real fishing. But once you catch that rare fish, it's so worth it!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
