You can do it through the Xbox app on your phone too. Just tap on your profile picture, then Customize, and finally hit 'Change gamertag.'

Honestly, just stay with your current gamertag unless it's something really embarrassing. Not worth the hassle or the fee.

Just go to the Xbox website, log in, and navigate to your profile settings to change your gamertag. Yeah, it's that simple.

Easy peasy! Just head to Settings > Personalization > My profile > Customize profile. From there, you can edit your gamertag. Heads up, the first change is free, but it'll cost you for subsequent changes.
