You can't change your PSN ID directly on a PS3. You'll need to change it using a PS4, PS5, or via a web browser. Head over to the PlayStation website, log in, and you'll find the option under 'Account Management.'

Gotta use a PS4, PS5, or a web browser to change your PSN ID. The PS3 itself doesn't have the option.

From my experience, you can change your PSN ID via the PlayStation website. Just log in and go to 'Account Management' -> 'Profile' -> 'Online ID'. The PS3 itself won't let you do it!
