Closing an Xbox Live account isn't super straightforward. You need to close the entire Microsoft account, since your Xbox Live account is tied to it. Go to the Microsoft account closure page, sign in, and follow the instructions. Just remember, this means losing access to all Microsoft services tied to that account, not just Xbox Live!

Why would you want to close your Xbox Live account? Just cancel the subscription if you're not using it!

Yep, you gotta kiss your whole Microsoft account goodbye to close Xbox Live. Head to Microsoft's account closure page, sign in, follow the prompts, and poof鈥攊t's gone! Just be aware, you're losing access to all the goodies like email, OneDrive, and anything else tied to that account.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
