Hold the Share and PS buttons down until the light bar starts blinking. Then go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings and select 'Wireless Controller' from the list. Done and done!

First-hand experience here: I connected my PS5 controller to my Android phone by holding the Share and PS buttons until the light flashes. Then, I selected 'Wireless Controller' in the Bluetooth settings. Worked like a charm!
