To cut down trees in Animal Crossing, you'll need to get yourself an axe. First, you gotta either buy one from the store or craft one if you're playing New Horizons. Once you've got your axe, just stand in front of the tree you wanna cut down and keep swinging until it falls. Remember, if you're using a flimsy axe, it might take a few hits or it might not cut down the tree at all – you'll need a stronger axe for the job!

Actually, if you wanna be eco-friendly, consider relocating trees instead of cutting them down. You can eat a piece of fruit to gain the strength to dig up and move trees. Saves the tree and gives your island a makeover!

Just whip out any axe and smack that tree three times. Timber!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
