Go to the Facebook app, tap the three-line menu at the bottom right, scroll down to 'Settings & Privacy,' then 'Settings.' Under 'Account Ownership and Control,' tap 'Deactivation and Deletion,' and choose 'Deactivate Account.' Piece of cake!

Just open the Facebook app, head to the menu (three lines), go to 'Settings & Privacy,' then 'Settings.' Scroll to 'Account Ownership and Control,' tap 'Deactivation and Deletion,' and select 'Deactivate Account.' Done!

I did it recently, and it's straightforward! Just go to Settings & Privacy in the app menu, then to Settings, then Account Ownership and Control, and follow the steps to deactivate. Good luck!
