You can't really delete just an Xbox account; it's linked to your Microsoft account. So you'll need to close your entire Microsoft account. Head over to the Microsoft closure page and follow the steps there. Just a heads-up: make sure to back up any important data before you proceed!

You gotta close your whole Microsoft account; there's no way to delete just the Xbox part. Go to Microsoft's account closure page and follow the instructions. Remember, there's no going back!

I had to do this once. You need to go to the Microsoft account closure page and follow the steps to close your whole Microsoft account. Make sure you save any important data before you do it!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
