Just stop using Facebook altogether and you'll never have to worry about history again!
Privacy is key! Head to Settings & Privacy > Activity Log > Filter > Search History. Then you can delete individual searches or clear all at once.
If you want to clear your Facebook search history, just go to the search bar, click 'Edit' next to 'Recent Searches' and select 'Clear Searches'. Cheers!
