I had to do this last week. Just head to your profile, tap the three lines, then go to Settings. Hit Security and you'll see 'Clear Search History' at the bottom. Tap it and confirm. Poof, history gone!
Easy peasy! Go to your profile, tap the three lines in the top right, select Settings, then Security. You'll see 'Clear Search History' at the bottom. Tap it, and boom – history's gone!
Short answer: Settings > Security > Clear Search History. Voilà!
Honestly, just uninstall the app and reinstall it. Problem solved and an instant clean slate!
