Don't overthink it. Profile > Photos > Albums. Open photo, click Options and delete it鈥攄one and dusted.
Just go to your profile, click on Photos, find the picture you want to delete, and click on the trash icon. Voila!
Deleting from mobile is kinda the same: Profile > Photos > Select photo > Tap on three dots > Delete.
On mobile? Tap Menu > Your Profile > Photos > Albums. Pick the album, find the pic, tap on it, then tap on the three dots and 'Delete'. Easy peasy.
