Want to say goodbye to your Steam account? Easy peasy. Just go into Steam, click on 'Settings' > 'Account' and you'll find a 'Delete my Steam account' option. Follow the prompts, and Steam will guide you through the process. Remember, it's a one-way trip, so make sure you're ready to leave behind those precious games and achievements!

Just uninstall the app if you're not looking to nuke your whole account. Go to 'Control Panel' > 'Programs and Features', find Steam, and click 'Uninstall'. Poof! It's gone from your computer, but your account still exists out there in the cloud, chilling with your digital game collection.

Why delete it though? Steam's pretty cool.

Deleting your Steam account is permanent. Download any games you want to keep or say bye-bye forever.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
