You can't actually delete Facebook notifications, but you can mark 'em as read so they don't bug ya anymore.
You can delete Facebook notifications by clicking the notifications icon, hovering over the notification you want to remove, and clicking the three dots to find the 'Remove this notification' option. Easy peasy!
From my experience, the best way to clear notifications is to open the Facebook app, tap the notification bell, then swipe left on any notification you wish to delete and tap the 'X' that appears. Works like a charm every time!
