How do I find my companions in Fallout 4?
The easiest way to keep track of your wandering pals in Fallout 4 is to use the Vault-Tec Population Management System, which you unlock after getting to a certain point in the game. Just build it in your settlement, and you can track all your companions on the map. But remember, you gotta complete the Vault-Tec Workshop quests first! Another way, a bit old school though, is to just remember where you last left them. Usually, they hang around the area or go back to your primary settlement if they get lost or you've traveled too far without them.

Just backtrack lol. They usually don't wander too far from where you last saw them. If you lost them in a building, they might be stuck on some furniture or something, just nudge them a bit.
Ring the bell in your settlement! Drop a bell from the resources menu under misc, ring it, and wait a bit. Your companions will start showing up like it's a party. Works every time for me.
