Just a heads up, your Animal Crossing 'friend code' isn't in the game. It's a Nintendo Switch thing. Check your Switch profile!

Finding your friend code in Animal Crossing isn't as mysterious as trying to find a coelacanth on a sunny day! First, make sure you're looking in the right spot - your friend code isn't in Animal Crossing itself, but on your Nintendo Switch system. Pop open your Home screen, click on your Profile in the top-left corner, and voila! Your friend code smiles back at you, right under your profile name and avatar. Share it with friends so they can add you and visit your island paradise!

Everyone's saying check the Switch, but don't forget: you actually need to add friends through the Switch system, not the game. Just sharing in case someone thinks it's all done in Animal Crossing. Been there, done that mistake.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
