If you鈥檙e on an iPhone or iPad, just swipe up from the bottom of the screen and flick the Words with Friends app away!

Forcing close on Android is easy! Just head to Settings, find Apps, select Words with Friends, and hit Force Stop.

I had to force close Words with Friends once. On my Android phone, I went to Settings, then Apps, found Words with Friends, and tapped Force Stop. Worked like a charm!

Honestly, on most phones, just finding the recent apps screen and swiping it away does the trick.

If you're a Words with Friends player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Words with Friends essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
