Getting a Great Throw is just luck, honestly. Keep trying and you'll land one eventually!
Just focus on throwing the Poke Ball when the target circle is mid-sized. If your thumb's doing a dance, you're almost there!
From my experience, curve balls make it easier to get a Great Throw. Spin the ball and aim for the shrinking circle!
