It's not super far into the game, so just enjoy the ride and you'll get there. In this mission, you'll meet a house-elf named Deek who will gift you the nab sack. This handy dandy sack lets you 'nab' beasties in a kind way, so you can carry them back to your Room of Requirement for all your magical creature care needs.
