Catching a tarantula in Animal Crossing is a thrilling challenge! To get one, first, make sure it's tarantula season in your game (November to April for Northern Hemisphere, May to October for Southern Hemisphere). These critters usually appear between 7 PM and 4 AM. Clear out an area of your island of all trees, stumps, flowers, and rocks to increase their spawn rate. Then, roam around until you spot one. Approach it slowly by holding 'A' to ready your net, but stop every time it raises its legs in defense. Once in range, release 'A' to catch it. And voila, you've got yourself a tarantula!

Just run around like a headless chicken at night during tarantula season. You'll bump into one eventually. Works for me every time!

Wanna catch a tarantula? Good luck, you'll need it more than tips. Those things are sneaky and will jump scare you more than any horror game. My tip? Practice your scream-silencing technique.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
