Level 40 is tough but not impossible! Focus on clearing out the bottom rows as much as possible. This strategy tends to cause a chain reaction, giving you more combos and power-ups. Worked for me!
Honestly, I found that watching a tutorial video helped me understand what I was missing. Sometimes you need to see someone else's approach to get past a tough level.
