You just need Gold and Hydrochloric Acid. Find deep shrooms in the Lost River biome & craft the acid with a salt deposit.
To make Polyaniline in Subnautica, you need to combine Gold and Hydrochloric Acid at a fabricator. You can get Hydrochloric Acid with 3 deep shrooms and 1 salt deposit!
Collecting gold is easy peasy, but finding those deep shrooms... ugh. Good luck!
Pro tip! The Lost River is a great spot for deep shrooms. Make sure to harvest a few so you don’t have to make too many trips!
