You need to reach at least 10,000 Newbucks to unlock the Science Lab. Head to the Ranch Expansion machine in the Overgrowth area to purchase it. Happy ranching!

Save up your Newbucks like it's your piggy bank! Once you hit 10,000, purchase it from the Ranch Expansion terminal near the Overgrowth area.
Just grind for those Newbucks until you hit 10,000. Then buy the Science Lab from the Overgrowth terminal, easy peasy.
