You can also get tomato starts from visiting friends' islands if they have Leif selling them. It’s a good excuse to check out what else is happening on your friends' islands!

Tomatoes, along with other crops, were introduced in the 2.0 update of Animal Crossing: New Horizons! To get them, you'll need to visit Leif's stall when he visits your island or when his shop is open on Harv's Island. Buy some tomato starts from him, plant them on your island, and water them. In a few days, you'll have fresh tomatoes ready to pick!

Just steal 'em from a friend's island. Faster that way. ;)

Honestly, tomatoes are overrated. Grow pumpkins instead!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
