Getting wood in Animal Crossing is pretty easy! Just grab yourself an axe and find a tree to whack. You can get three types of wood: wood, softwood, and hardwood, all by hitting trees. Just make sure not to chop down your trees by accident – hit them lightly!

Just hit trees with a flimsy axe or stone axe! You won't cut them down, but you'll get wood. It's a peaceful way to collect materials without harming your island's natural beauty.

Axes are overrated. Just shake trees for branches if you're desperate. Doesn't get you the good stuff, but hey, it's something.

Buy it. Sometimes crafting is a hassle. Check Nook's Cranny. They sometimes sell wood in bulk. Saves time if you're not into the whole lumberjack vibe.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
