Honestly, it's usually better to avoid them or lure them away with some metal salvage. Save your resources and energy for bigger threats.
You can kill a Stalker by using your Survival Knife and slashing at it repeatedly, or by using a Stasis Rifle to freeze it before attacking. Just be prepared for a bit of a fight!
I've used my Prawn Suit with a Drill Arm to take down Stalkers while collecting resources. It's like multitasking with style!
