Figuring out if your Pokemon card is a hidden treasure starts with checking its rarity symbol; look for the tiny symbol at the bottom right of the card - a circle means common, a diamond is uncommon, and a star means it's rare, which typically means more valuable. Also, check for any holographic features, as holo cards tend to be worth more. Finally, condition matters a lot; mint condition cards fetch the highest prices. If you think you've got something special, compare it with listings on reputable card trading websites or eBay to get an idea of its market value.

Just flip it! If it's shiny, it's probably worth something.

Honestly, most cards aren't worth much unless they're rare or in perfect condition. Best bet is to find a rare one with a star symbol and no scratches or bends.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
