Search their username in the app. If nothing pops up and you can't send messages, you probably got the block treatment!
If you can't find their profile and all your messages to them don't deliver, sorry to say, but you're likely blocked.
Check if their username disappears from your friends list. If it's gone, you might've been blocked. Also, try searching for them. If they don't show up, that's another clue!
