Easy! Just point your camera down and press your sprint key (usually Shift) to descend. It's like swimming but with space ninjas!

You can lower your altitude by aiming downwards and pressing the crouch/slide button (default is Ctrl). Works like a charm!

I've found that looking down and using the crouch/slide button helps you plunge down faster, perfect for those quick descents.
