First off, know your cards! Start by choosing a few key Pokemon you want to build your deck around – typically, you'll want a mix of Basic and Evolution Pokemon. Make sure to include enough Energy cards to actually use your Pokemon's attacks. Trainer cards are super important too; they can seriously boost your strategy. Aim for a balance: around 15-20 Pokemon, 10-15 Energy cards, and the rest Trainer cards. Test your deck out a lot and tweak it as you go. Remember, practice makes perfect!

It's all about the balance. You can't just throw in your favorite Pokemon and call it a day. Mix it up with a good variety of Pokemon types to cover your weaknesses, and don't skimp on the Trainer and Energy cards. Also, playing against different opponents will teach you a lot about refining your deck!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
