Turn on your Xbox and controller, then press the sync button on both. When the Xbox button stops flashing, you're good to go!

Super easy! Just turn on your Xbox and the controller. Press the sync button on the console (usually a small button near the USB ports). Then, press and hold the sync button on the top of the controller until the Xbox button starts flashing. Wait for them to sync up, and boom, you're ready to game!

Tested this many times: turn everything on, press the sync buttons (console first, then controller), and wait until the lights stop flashing. Works like a charm every time!
