Just close the app. Seriously, Fallout Shelter doesn't have a pause button. When you come back, it'll pick up pretty much where you left off.

Nah, you can't pause. Game keeps going but slower when it's not active. It's designed to run in real time, which is pretty cool for keeping things moving even when you're not looking.

Quick tip: you can't really 'pause' Fallout Shelter in the traditional sense, since it's a live simulation game. But, if you need a break without closing the app, just exit to the main menu. This stops almost all gameplay progressions like resource depletion and dweller unhappiness. Remember, though, incidents can still occur if you're in the middle of one!

If you're a Fallout Shelter player looking for extra caps or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Fallout Shelter essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
