You can't actually permanently delete PSN messages on the app, but you can delete them from your view by swiping left on the conversation and tapping the trash can icon. The messages will still exist for the other party, but at least they're gone from your sight!

PSN messages can't be permanently deleted via the mobile app. You can only remove them from your own view.

I tried to delete my PSN messages forever too, but it's just not possible yet. Swipe left and hit delete to clear it from your view, though!

As of now, there's no way to permanently delete PSN messages from the app. You can remove the conversations from your screen, but they're still stored on Sony's servers.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
