You can't directly post from Facebook to Instagram, but you can link your Instagram account to Facebook so anything you post on Instagram can automatically get shared to Facebook. Just go to your Instagram settings, click on 'Account,' then 'Linked Accounts,' and connect your Facebook account!
No direct posting from Facebook to Instagram. You'll need to manually post on Instagram. Linking accounts helps share Instagram posts to Facebook though!

I ran into this too! You have to post on Instagram first. Then, you can set it to share to Facebook from within Instagram.
