To make your Facebook account private, go to Settings & Privacy, then Privacy Checkup. Adjust who can see your posts, friend requests, and contact info. Easy peasy!
Privacy settings are under Settings & Privacy. Just keep tweaking till everything says 'Friends' or 'Only Me'!
