For a PS4, turn it off completely, then hold the power button until you hear two beeps (about 7-8 seconds). Connect a controller via USB, then choose 'Initialize PS4' from the safe mode menu.

Turn off your PS5, hold the power button for seven seconds until you hear the second beep, then connect a controller and choose 'Reset PS5' from the safe mode menu. Easy-peasy!

Just go to Settings > System > Console Information > Reset Console. You'll have options like 'Reset and Remove Everything' if you want a full reset. Boom, done!

Honestly, the settings menu on any PlayStation will guide you step-by-step. Go to Settings > System and look for the reset options. Couldn't be simpler!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
