I鈥檝e done this many times. You just need to add a debit card in the settings, then you can send money by clicking the dollar icon in your conversation.
Just tap the blue '+' button in your chat, then select the dollar sign. Enter the amount, add a note if you want, and hit 'Pay'. It's that simple!
Don't bother. Venmo is way better.
