I had to do this too! Go to 'PlayStation Network' on the XMB and select 'Sign In'. Use your existing Sony Entertainment Network account details.

First, power on your PS3 and make sure you鈥檙e connected to the internet. Then, go to the 'PlayStation Network' option on the XMB (cross media bar) and select 'Sign In'. Enter your email and password, and you鈥檙e good to go!
