Mobile app trick: Tap the three lines (Menu) > Settings & Privacy > Settings > Media > Autoplay, and choose 'Never Autoplay Videos.' You'll thank me later!
On your desktop? Head to Settings > Videos > Auto-Play Videos and select 'Off.' No more surprise video noises!
I was having the same issue and switching the autoplay setting to 'Only on Wi-Fi' saved my data!
