Alright, ready for some console surgery? First, lay your Xbox 360 flat. Remove the hard drive and faceplate, then use a flat tool to pop off the side and top panels. You'll need Torx T8 and T10 screwdrivers to undo the screws. Just be gentle and patient!

Honestly, you should just take it to a pro. DIY can make things worse.

I've taken apart my Xbox 360 many times! First, remove the hard drive and any other accessories. Use flat tools to pop off the faceplate and side panels. Get Torx T8 and T10 screwdrivers to remove the screws inside. Keep track of everything to reassemble it later!

Disassembling an Xbox 360 can be tricky but doable! Start by removing external accessories like controllers, hard drive, and any discs. Use a flathead screwdriver or plastic tool to carefully pries off the faceplate, then work your way to the side and top panels. Unscrew the internals with Torx T8 and T10 screwdrivers. Remember: patience is key!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
