How do I turn off Facebook videos?

You can disable Facebook videos, just go into Settings & Privacy > Settings > Media and Contacts > Videos and Photos. Then, toggle off 'Autoplay'.

From personal experience, go to Settings, then scroll down to Videos. Turn off 'Auto-play Videos!' Saved my sanity.
