How Do I Unlock a Treasure Pod in Slime Rancher?
To unlock treasure pods, you'll need to get the Treasure Cracker upgrade from the Vacpack Upgrades section at the Ranch's upgrade shop. Keep collecting those Newbucks and you'll get there in no time!

Just point your Vacpack, press the interact button, and, poof, pod unlocked! After purchasing the Treasure Cracker, of course.
Trust me, just go on a treasure hunt once you've got the Treasure Cracker! There's gold (or plorts) in those pods!
Patience pays off! Simply progress through the game and earn enough Newbucks. Once you have the required amount, buy the Treasure Cracker upgrade. Happy hunting!
