I unlocked everyone by grinding the Classic Mode. Each route unlocks a different character, and it's a fun way to get them all!
Easiest way is just to keep playing quick matches. New challengers will pop up after a while, and you can unlock them by winning!
Honestly, the fastest way is to quit the game after every challenger fight and restart it. It tricks the game into thinking you've played a lot of matches quickly!
