To unpublish your Facebook page, go to your page's settings, click 'General', and then find 'Page Visibility'. Select 'Page unpublished', save changes, and voilà!

I've done this before! You just head to your page settings, set visibility to unpublished, and you're good to go.
Easy peasy, just go to page settings and hit 'unpublish'. Done.
Isn't that a feature only admins have access to? Make sure you're an admin first.
