How do I update Super Mario Maker?
On the Wii U or 3DS, go to the home menu, select the game, and press the '+' button, then choose 'Software Update.' On the Switch, updates should happen automatically, but you can manually check by pressing '+' on the game icon and selecting 'Software Update.'
