Just go to the person's profile whose photos you want to see and click on their 'Photos' tab. It's all there, no magic required!

From your news feed, click on any photo to view it. You can even swipe through an album if it's part of one. Easy peasy!
You could just scroll through your timeline and click any images you see. They all pop up in a nice viewer.
