Ah, interrupts, a blast from the past! They actually don't exist anymore. Magic The Gathering used to have interrupts as a card type that you could play to, well, interrupt your opponent. But hold your horses, because in 1999, with the release of the Sixth Edition, they got phased out. Now, what we used to call interrupts are part of what's known as instant spells. You can play instants pretty much any ol' time you've got priority, like during your opponent's turn, after they've made a move, or even in response to another instant!

As a long-time MTG player, let me tell you, interrupts were tricky business. But now, with instants, it's much simpler. You can respond to almost anything at lightning speed, as long as you've got the mana. Timing and strategy are key. Knowing when to play your instant can make or break the game.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
