In MTG Arena drafts, lands work a bit differently than in your usual kitchen-table Magic. When you're drafting, you don't have to pick basic lands during the draft portion; instead, you can add any number of basic lands to your deck after you've picked your cards. This lets you focus on grabbing the spells and creatures that'll make your deck a powerhouse, without worrying about whether you'll have enough mana to play them. Just make sure to balance your mana needs based on the colors of the cards you've chosen!

Actually, I enjoy the simplicity of not having to draft lands. Makes building your deck way easier and lets you concentrate on the fun part: picking powerful cards!

Quick tip for MTG Arena drafts: Don't waste your draft picks on basic lands! Arena's gonna let you add all the basic lands you want later. Draft those bomb spells and creatures instead!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
