Lesson cards in MTG are a super cool twist! When you cast a spell with the 'Learn' ability, you get to either discard a card to draw a card OR you can whip out a Lesson card from outside the game (think sideboard in tournament play or any cards you have handy during a casual match) and put it into your hand. It's like having a cheat sheet during a test that the teacher totally allows!

Honestly, Lesson cards are overrated. Just stick to the main deck strategies and forget the gimmicks.

It's simple: Lesson cards stay out of your deck. Use a 'Learn' ability, and you can grab a Lesson card from your sideboard (up to 15 cards in competitive play). No 'Learn'? Lesson cards just chill outside the game.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
