In Limited MTG Grand Prix, the Top 8 part is pretty intense. Players start with a fresh draft or sealed pool (depending on the format of the event) to build new decks. This levels the playing field and tests players’ deck-building and playing skills under pressure. After the decks are built, it’s a single-elimination showdown. Each match is a best-of-three games, and the player who wins moves on to the next round until a champion is crowned.

Basically, the top 8 draft again and then face off. Simple as that.

The Top 8 in a Limited Grand Prix is where the real magic happens. Forget everything you've done before; this is where legends are made. You draft again, using all the skills you've honed to outmaneuver your opponents in a high-stakes, winner-takes-all series of duels. Only one will emerge victorious.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
