They’re basically the life points for your Planeswalkers. You add or remove counters based on what abilities you use. If a Planeswalker runs out of loyalty points, they're considered defeated. Always strategize to protect them or to take down your opponent's!

Loyalty points in MTG are like a Planeswalker's health. When you play a Planeswalker card, it comes into play with a number of loyalty counters equal to its starting loyalty. You can then use its abilities, which will either add or subtract loyalty counters. If a Planeswalker's loyalty hits 0, bye-bye, it's off to the graveyard!

Just think of them as Planeswalker stamina. Use abilities, gain or lose stamina. Run out, and they're outta the game!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
